Seems like the pistons are breaking on those KX 85S we recently did 5 motors that broke and jammed up the bottom end . Anybody else ??? They rip though .
I have hear this from a few riders through out our travels. We run off road stuff like Netra/Ecea/Gncc. A few guys change pistons every week or so to avoid this. :ugg:
My son's piston skirt broke just as he crossed the finish line this weekend. I sent the cylinder to Eric Gorr for the ama over-bore kit, 90cc. Also, we have had problems with the stock clutch plates and basket, had to go to hinson's. I wouldnt recomend buying the kx85, too many mechanical problems with the bikes.
