How much bigger would a "C" oversize piston be versus stock?

97 KX500

I know/think the oversizes increment by a certain number, just not sure what it is!

THE REASON I ASK - i've got my KX torn down for a rebuild (bad crank bearings). The piston is stamped C on top, and ART on the side (so I believe its either the original piston or a factory replacement)

The plating is OK. There doesn't seem to be any taper to the bore (I have a range of micrometers, but no inside snap gauges, so I used the ring gap method) If I had the money and time I'd have it replated, but I dont, so....

I'VE GOT A BRAND NEW WISECO PISTON, STD SIZE - can I use it?

$35 on ****.... shipped! only needed a set of circlips

Thanks guys!!
