Pitting on top of Piston and Head

My 1994 Honda CR125R has pitting on top of the piston and the Head. Is something getting past the cylinder? Maybe a bearing? I have the motor out and plan to rebuild as much as possible. I need some help finding a gasket kit, cylinder kit etc....Any help would be greatly appreciated as to why this is happening.

Probably detonation.

You should check with service honda for your parts needs. The have good prices.

I would throughly check the bottem end bearings for any roughness or play.

Look carefully at the exhaust edge of the piston. Kind of eroded away? A needle bearing can let loose and pit both, and some gouging.
