Places to ride near Stamford CT?

Hi Everyone,

Just joined & interested to know places where it is 'acceptable' to do some light trail riding near Stamford CT. I say 'near' as I have an xr650l, am not experienced & plan to get there on the bike. Appreciate any help & advice anyone can give.
