Places to ride near Yuma

Needs some help!!!!

I am out here in Yuma for the next couple of months and I am looking for some good places to ride.

I am from Nor Cal and don't know where the hot spots to ride out here.

I ride track and trails but I have never rode in the sand yet but I am willing to give it a shot. Need to get a paddle tire first.

Anyone know of some places to go????

Also do I have to register my bike to ride/get a permit out here to ride?

Any assistance would be great.
