plug wire broke at coil..how do I repair

I bought an old KDX a few months ago. It is my first bike since I was a kid. I have learned a tremendous amount from this website and all of your expertise.

My spark plug wire came apart right at the coil. Can it be repaired, or do I need to buy a new coil? Thanks for all of your help.

i think the plug wire just screws into the coil. i know you can get new plug wires from the dealer.

Thanks. I looked at the kawasaki parts diagram and saw the wire and coil listed as one unit. I did some online searches with no luck. I'll call the dealership on Monday. Thanks.

personally i'd just tape the crap out of it and see how it worked...but buying the new one is probably your best bet, but you could try taping and see how it works.
