Paul, this is a ktm, right?
You list yr midvalve, but we also need the lift at the midvalve.
A lot can be done at the midvalve.
how is bottoming?

Georgieboy, the bottoming resistance is really good, how do i accurately measure the lift at the mid valve as the shims bend when holding them?

The lift is measured by pushing a feeler between the shimstack and the piston. When you try this and the shims bend there might be no lift at all. The shimstack is pushed against the piston with a spring(normally). Free lift is nessesary to obtain the plushness at the midvalve. Too much freelift becomes a checkvalve. not enough creates harshness.
Do a search there is lots about freelift in the forum. Look for:midvalve
