Thanks.. He landed almost in my boots!! (that's an old Travis Preston CR250R up there!!)
Here are a couple more of those "almost landed on type shots"...
Funny, I don't have any problem at all putting myself in the middle of the action on the track with a camera, but when I get on the bike, I get somewhat intimidated..
These two I was standing on the edge of a tabletop at Earlywine's in Maysville, KY yesterday.
This one was taken at the 2008 Romaniacs on day 4 of 5. The rider is Shane Cuthbertson, a Canadian who ended up 9th overall. Shane dislocated his finger during the prologue, and toughed out the rest of the prologue plus 4 days of some of the toughest terrain in the world. He was absolutely exhausted - both physically and mentally yet he managed to persevere through it all and finish in the top 10.
This one is also from the 08 Romaniacs - this time during the prologue going up the crazy biker house stairwell. This race is insane.
Here is the one that I keep coming back to.
I shot this pic of my 15 year old son last September at Weyerhauser, WI. I used a Canon XSi with a Canon EF 70-200 lens.
I'm very new to the photo part of moto, but with my boy making the jump to big bikes from minis it made it easier (read less stress) and allows me more time to do this!
