Power Now Carb Insert

Has anyone on this forum tried the power now insert on their 200 kdx? Does it work like its advertised, is it worth the money? Did you need to re-jet afterwards?

If I were you I wouldn't bother with it. Take a look here under CARB MODS.

BeefKing and KnoxKDX made homemade ones for their KDX's, but I don't think either of them really posted how they performed or how it impacted jetting. But looking at the retail on the power now @ $90+ your already over half way to paying for the rb carb mod that KAY DEE EXER links too. And there is no mystery on that mod, its proven and the jetting/needle impacts have been pretty well documented.

I made one, but also sent my top end off to gorr at the same time, so not sure exactly what difference (if any) it made. I HIGHLY doubt it makes any significant increase in response...bottom line, save the $90 and apply it toward a more meaningful mod. BTW...didn't affect jetting a bit.
