is it true that a kdx 200/220 with a fmf gnarly pipe and a stock silencer has the greatist power to sound ratio.

I know that a gnarly woods has slightly more low end but is thier a noticable difference between it and the gnarly desert

Power to sound ratio? Is that decibels divided by horsepower?

An aftermarket exhaust system provides a broader power band than the stock system. They are also louder.

If you want your exhaust quiet, keep it stock. A stock silencer with an aftermarket pipe does produce a wider powerband, but it will be louder than the stock system. A full after market system may provide a little additional power, but it may be louder yet.

power to sound as in maximum gain of power (HP) for minimum gain in sound (DB)
I read that you can never get you bike quieter than stock, and if you get a pipe the stock silencer will make your bike much quieter than say a turbine core with almost the same power out put.

Just get it ported and it will be just as quite and run better than changing the exhaust. So say Eric Gorr and many other top tuners. And babycleatus.... are you going to buy a KDX or just keep asking all these questions without doing a search until you are put on our ignore list? :pissed:
