97 kdx 200. I recently had the pleasure of having a power valve stick open. Did some research and have found out that this is not uncommon for that model. Is there any mods or tricks to stop this happening again. Cleaned valve and all seems well.
Keep it cleaned, and make sure the bike isn't jetted too rich. Rich jetting will make a lot of extra spooge and crud in the valve, meaning more frequent cleanings. It should still be cleaned once a year if you ride often.
