hey guys i just have a simple ??????
i doing the head gasket on my 1990 yz 125 and i removed the power valve cover and it got lots of oil inside is this normal?

There's nothing mechanically wrong. You should clean that oil out of there every time you have the motor apart. It will eventually gum up and cause the valve to stick. Make sure you are using a high quality premix for engines with powervalves. These oils burn cleaner and cause less buildup in the PV.

I'd definately inspect the powervalve for excessive free play. I'd spend the 20 bucks on new brass bushings from the dealer. My power valve had to much wear/play and started touching/rubbing the piston. Ended up replacing the piston again, and the valve.

I highhhhly recommend this. Make sure the powervalve is nice and crisp.
