Are there many parts compatable between the pre H and H model KDX's? I'm looking at rads, wheels, etc etc. Can find plenty of pre 95 bits at wreckers...

Some parts will, some will not. The rear wheels will interchange from what I can tell, the rads will not I believe. You can look at the parts diagrams on the buykawasaki site and compare the parts. If the have the same part number then they most likely will interchange.
The master cylinder looks outwardly slightly different but carries the same major part numbers, including the brake piston itself, so I'm guessing they should be interchangeable between the two even though they have very different caliper designs then. The rads on the E also appear to be interchangeable with the H1-H3 according to the fische, which definately opens up some options to replace by bananna shaped left hand one....
