I dropped my 220 off at my local mechanic for jetting, etc. and just got a call from him saying that I should replace the current Pro Circuit 296 silencer and replace it with the stocker to regain some bottom end...he states that the PC is more restrictive in order to meet db requirements. When I installed the 296, it was in addition to several other mods, so I don't have a direct comparison between the two.
