Pro circuit pipe and 304 shorty silencer

I just purchased a pro circuit works pipe and silencer for my sons kx 65 was wandering do i have to rejet the carb some say yes and others say no. The ones that say no say use stock jet and move one click up on the needle.Just want to make sure thank you.

Really the only way to know is to change it and run it and see what the engine does.

i didn't change a thing, yours might be different.

I didn't have to change a thing until I put in different reeds.
Then I had to go one bigger on the main.
