Just bought my son a 1999 KDX 220. It came with a extra PC Pipe and Silencer . The stock on is on it now. What does the PC pipe do for the bike (ie low end to top end differences)? Right now the bike hits pretty hard on the bottom end but run out of power on the Mid to top end? Will this pipe help any? Or should I look at the jettin a little closer?
Thanks in advance

With my FMF I did not notice any loss down low but did pick up a lot of midrange on up. More revs also.

I have a Pro Circuit Pipe on my 2001 KDX200, It is designed to produce more power in the low & mid rpm ranges, plus gain revs on top. I love it, also get a factory sound silencer. I took the air box lid off. I bought some Carbon Tech HT reeds, and a Twin Air air filter. Installed a 155 main jet, a 45 pilot jet, and an R1173K needle on the 3rd clip (middle notch). This really wakes the bike up. A great setup!!!
