Who, when they buy a product, puts the sticker on their bike or a piece of their riding gear?
Sponsored riders in most cases will run their sponsors stickers?
What got me thinking of this was on the cover of Dirt Rider the riders helmet has both an Asterisk sticker and a CTi2 sticker, maybe being a bit anal-itical, but don't these two companies deal solely in knee braces, do sponsors discourage this. Although we DO have two knees:confused:
I am sure there are many who use stickers as dressing, and then there are also those whose stickers are the only thing holding their bike together:eek:
I DO hear those DRN stickers are pretty snazzy:cool:

I like to run the stickers I get when I buy new products. I feel that if I think its a good product i would like other people to know that I run them. But then again I don't have to many sponsers.

As most of the Heartland Spodes know my GG was covered in stickers. The original owner put quite a few on. After taking all the razzing I could I began taking them off. These things were stuck like you would not believe. I'll have it all cleaned up when winter is over. The same goes for the KX.

My plan is to run only DRN fender decals. While DRN is a company. I'll do it primarily so other members will know I am a member and maybe introduce thierselves at races etc.

Stickers

I don't put any stickers on my bikes. I collect all the aftermarket stickers that come with the products, 20 years from now they will have some nostalgic value to me.

I also only run OEM graphics and seat covers on my bikes, as I think this is the cleanest look. Everybody seems to put on graphics kits and run lots of stickers, so the "stock look" actually becomes unique and appealing.

i only have one sponsor so that is the only sticker i run on my bike. i don't feel that it's fair to my sponsor to run the other's stickers if they are not helping me out.

only sticker i run on my bike
Besides, that Geritol sticker you have would clash with most other MX stickers. :p

I've often wondered how much different companies would pay me NOT to run their stickers...

Believe it or not, that's the primary objective of the stickers... several members (oh so long ago) convinced me to make the stickers for that very reason. The advertising benefit I'm sure is there, but wasn't the driving force.

Are the DRN stickers still available? It would be so much easier to point to my fender when I'm telling people I run into on the trail about DRN.

I had a handicap sticker on the back fender of my old bike to warn other riders.:debil:

I wonder if anyone makes small "slow moving vehicle" stickers... those are what I need on the back of my bike!

I guess one of these days I need to send off for my free DRN stickers, with the new KX I'll have a lot more space for stickers. I really like stickers, I cover everything in stickers! The more the better as I see it.

I only have a few left... get 'em while you can. I do have a ton of the "old style" logo I can send as well.

Send a SELF ADDRESSED, STAMPED envelope to:

DRN Stickers
PO Box 526
Island Lake, IL 60042-0526

I'll send each person 2 stickers untill they are gone. I'll post when I run-out.

Okie, will you be getting different style stickers when this batch is gone? I've gotten a lot of comments on how nice the fender stickers are...
