Got a pair 2 months ago. Only been out a handful of times with them and no complaints so far. I overheat easily and often so I have noticed a slight fogging problem when I stop moving if I forget to take them off. Like them very much, still waiting for some Sun to try them in. :thumb:

I loved mine when I could use them, great foam and the strap never sagged. I got the carbon fiber looking framed ones and it started flaking off, which wasn't a big deal. The real stupid thing I did was just dumped my gear bag into the washer (goggles too, unknowingly) and the lens seperated. I never priced another lens for them. They never become completely clear, like in the woods where it's dark, they always have a bit of tint to them, but in the bright sun they darken things up nicely.

Great goggles! All my Scott goggles have the foam disintegrate in under a season of use . . . way under. The PG are more comfortable, better foam, don't cost that much more (if you shop around) and the light sensing lens are perfect for me on most days. Yeah, there is always a very slight tint as someone mentioned, but I don't think it's even noticeable unless you think about it. If you buy, also get their tearoffs and a spare lens is always a good idea. The main knock against PG is that their products are much harder to find than they should be. Dealers always stock Scott becuz it's a no-brainer for them and good margin.

BTW, to delay the disintegration of the foam, rinse/wash the foam often. Sweat is the # 1 reason for this.

JHO: You mean with the Scotts or with the Pro Grip? All my Scotts the past few years have been the No Sweat models, but that's not where the foam is breaking down. It's the thin "dust filter" (I guess) foam at the top of the goggle that allows air in while keeping dirt out . . . except of course mine no longer do. I don't see how washing the goggles would make any diff for that portion of them. The foam is paper thin and tears easily, just from wearing them.
By the way, if anybody who works for Scott ever reads this, I've been a decades-long customer who will no longer buy Scott becuz of this continuous problem. Most of my racing buddies report the same rapid disintegration of their Scott goggles as well, in the same area.
