I am looking for info or models on promotional point systems. I belong to an organiztion that is new [this is its second year, nemx org] To this point they have not implemented apromotion point system and it is up for discussion.
The org is based in New England , so there are other orgs, NEMA, NESC, as well NHchallenge.
The problem encountered is the org draws 600-700 enteries staying in the MA/NH area, but when we travel to some of the remote tracks in VT and NY, the #'s drop off. it is a new org, so building up a rider base will take time, but a promotional system doesnot work if thereare 50 riders one race day in a class then 12 riders in the same class on a different day.{yes the #'s vary that much}
