I have an oversized bars in my CR that are bolted with a non stock adapter in top of triple clamp (sorry the English for these specific parts) I think the name is a clamp kit adapter...
As a matter of fact, I need a new one more higher to improve my cramped body position and a friend told me to buy just a longer four bolts(8 mm bolts). Then make four metal inserts and four smalls pieces in rubber like orings in order to put between the top of triple clamp and the clamp kit adapter then is just bolt them and that's all.
With this modification we have 3 advantages:
-Save some money in a new adapter
-Improving the dimension according to the desired (just to put a larger metal insert or cut it)
-The small piece of rubber is only to eliminate some arm pump and some kind of vibration
This invention makes sense and about disadvantages ?
