I have an older pw80 that has a few problems. I'm new to dirtbike repair.
1. The fuel overflows with the gas on. I've searched and read that its either the float or needle valve so I took apart the carb and the float moves freely but i'm not sure where or what i'm looking for as far as the needle valve goes.
2. I have a rattle sound coming from the engine and it appears to be internal. I first thought the top end bearing was bad so I replaced it but the problem persists. When I had the top end apart I examined the piston, rod, rings etc. and everything appeared fine. The noise isnt present when turning over, only when running.
3. I would like to do the front spring mod for more height but do not know how, instructions would be helpful.
