I have an '02 yz125 here. I just got a new FmF factory fatty and boyesen power reeds for the bike. Now the bike has a Mikuni tmx 38mm carb on it, however I have a Keihin pwk 38mm off of my neighbour's old tm125 that he sold for parts. I was wondering... since I'll be doing jetting changes anyways, should I put the Keihin on? Or are the Mikuni and Keihin on par performance wise?
thanks in advance,
-Tyler

the mikuni is a great carb, plus when you run a pwk on a 125 its really hard to get the slide setting really good.

stick with the tmx

I took the TMX off my Husky 125 and replaced it with a 36mm PWk. Major improvement.
Everyone else who goes to the PWK is impressed. If you already have the PWK I would not hesitate to make the switch.
