1. fmf gnarly desert pipe and turbinecore 2 silencer.
2. air lid has no snorkel and many small holes.
3. 35mm carb
4. i have a 155 main and 48 pilot. I think im running rich, i am around 500-1000ft above sea level in NY.

what would be better jets to try and what else should i adjust. I ride in about 70 degree weather to 85 degree weather. Also what jets should i use if i get boyseen reeds.

Assuming you have stock needle and slide, be sure needle is clipped in second from top (big end) position. Be sure your air cleaner is clean and use above post. I expect that 42 pilot will be better. Remember when you get close on your pilot your air screw will matter and should be adjusted--probably about 1.5 turns out. Enjoy John

Goto a 40,42 pilot & try a 152,155 main, clip middle to second from top. I'm within the same elevation in the same state. I have power reeds installed, but try a 42/152 w/middle clip and work from there

what is the stock height for the needle, and so you guys are saying keep the 155 main and drop the pilot from a 48 to a 42. Also will reeds make my bike richer or leaner. Cause my bike is running pretty rich.

ya but i hoped you would answer which you did cause you got pretty much what i got so thanks.
Clip position middle (Stock), 48 Pilot (Stock), 160 Main (Stock)
The pilot is way rich, I would try a 42, then goto a 40 when you put reeds in. Your main is good, but you may like a 152 better.
I have the 1173 (richer-220) needle in the carb, the 1774(Leaner) needle is the 200 Stock Needle.
Buy the service manual also, helps alot

You are going to have to do your own testing with your jetting. These baselines are great and all, but every bike is a little different. Also, a lot of these susggestions may be a little on the lean side being that we are coming into colder weather. What works great at 80ºF melts pistons at 40ºF.

Frankie, unless you're running a #7 slide the straight section (the 'K' part of the CEK) is a little rich for your application. The #4 clip position will make it even richer. My 200H didn't like the #4 position at all even with a #7 slide with the CEK. If you're running the stock (KDX200H ???) slide you may want to try a CEM needle and clip position #3 for starters. If you have the air box lid off (or a bunch of holes drilled in it) put it back on (or plug the extra holes) and try running it again. That just may cure your hesitation. What will also help is setting your air screw at 1 1/2 out and then working it in a little to see if that also is an improvement (maybe to 1 1/4 out or so).

My 95 KDX200 loves the CEK at 4/#7 slide. It would hesitate at 3 but I was also running a 40 pilot. Time to fatten it up now...getting alot cooler out...

For a change, try closing it down to the 5/8 open range, +/- 1/8. The AS is most effective off-idle, setting it to 'fix' any other circuit will likely compromise off-idle performance. (1-1/8 throttle)

what i do notice is sometimes when going from 1/4 to full throttle is when i get the bog for a second the it runs hard it does it usually when coming out of a corner and going from that throttle setting what jet would be the culprit
