Question on this bike

Hey I'm new to the site not so new to riding though. Anyway i have a chance to pick up this 150cc 4 stroke dirt bike called like an XR12. Runs and looks good he only wants a $100 for it he got it for free from a friend in return for some work he did for him. Any way my question is is i worth it its a no name dirt bike you could prolly get it from like Rural King or pepboys or some place like that it says it's made by fly wing. but i can't find anything on it like parts or anything can any one give me some info on this bike and tell me if its worth it id just use it to mess around on. Thanks.

For a puddle jumper or small pit bike you would probably be ok. Just don't take it to the track! :yikes:

Make sure you can get parts to repair it before you buy it.

Ol'89r makes a couple of great points. Oftentimes the liability exceeds the value of things. That might be the case here.

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.
