Rad valve Vs. 607 Reeds?

How would the boyesen rad valve compare to boyesen 607 reeds in my stock cage? im gettin my bike ported and they say to get a boyesen reed cage but im already spending alot on the porting so i dont want to spend 300 on the rad valve, if i can spend 60 on the reeds. i just want the reeds for now (if they will work good with the porting) but in the future im sure i will get the rad valve. so how much of a difference in performance increase would the rad have have over the 607 reeds?
