I found a rad valve in great shape...like new , for $50. Problem is I've heard mixed reviews....some swear by them and some say it's A minimal gain accompanied by jetting headaches. So what do you guys think ??? I no longer "fear" jetting...infact I've gotten pretty quick at it so that's a non issue, but does the rad valve make a noticeable difference and if so where ? Low end torque ?? Top end ? Midrange ? Powerband ? Across the whole spectrum. Help !!!! If it's worth it I don't wanna miss out. Thanks !

I got one cheap from a friend for my old KDX250.

I could not tell any difference in performance. If you put it side to side next to the stock intake, it looks like it should work better, lol.

this is old but , stock with carbon fiber reeds and proper jetting are very good
some reed cages- it costs almost as much for a new cage, than just getting replacement reeds! be careful what one you get , some are scams
