I have done some research and have found that Michelins are great tires. I am going to be riding in sand trails, along with rock trails. What Michelin model is best suited for what I am going to be doing? What will last long and still work good in both conditions.
-Thanks

M12. They will be less likely to chunk in the rocks but still work OK in the sand.

The S12 will work fine traction-wise in both conditiions, but you are more likely to rip the smaller knobs off in the rocks than the M12.

I have M12s on the KTM 300 and S12s on the XR250 as we speak BTW. Mostly ride in sand. A friend ran the S12 in some rockier enduros and they hooked up but shredded pretty quickly.

What bike and what riding area BTW???

I ride a YZ 125. I ride in sand (that is what it is like around me) and I am going to be going to Tower City, PA this year to go riding about once a month. (Rocky)
-Thanks for the reply
