I need a rear hub for my 01 KX 250. The chain came off landing off a jump and broke two of the bolt ears off that the sprocket bolts to. Thought about getting the two built back up by tig welding and then machining them down. Has any one ever had one fixed this way?

You can fix anything. I Have a 99 kx250 that I might be willing to sell the wheel off of. I got an 04 now and I broke my ankle anyhow.

Well if the bike is in perfect order I wouldn't be pulling parts off of it. I'll get it fixed if I can find someone to let me use thier tig welder, I welded for 10 years. If you sacrafice your rear wheel and can't find another used one be prepared to shell out about $400 to $500 for a complete wheel. Thanks for the jesture.
