On a 99KTM 250 exc rear shock is the compression adjuster used the same way as the rebound ? i.e. turn it all the way clockwise then count the clicks out. And if so the is the softest setting one click out? Can someone please explain I've been trying to figure this out too long and now I have total brain lock:eek:
If it is like my 125EXC the compression knob is opposite of all the others. (i.e. the +/- is reversed). Turn it in the positive direction for a firmer ride, to the negative for a softer ride.
BSer is right. Turn it counter clockwise to make it stiffer. There should be a "+" and "-" sign to show the correct way. "+" would stiffen the compression circuit. All the way clockwise would be the softest setting.
