HELP! I’ve been doing work on a buddies bike and went to do the wheel bearings. front went super smooth but then I got to the rear. They came out fairly easy, however when I went to install the new ones, they WOULD NOT go all the way in. I heated the hubs with a torch. Using by bearing driver tool I would go to hit the bearings into place but they would go right below flush with the hub and get suck. One side of the bearing would move down as if it was fine, but one side would get stuck and not move down whatsoever. (So they’d kind of get wedged at an angle. No matter what I do I can’t get the bearings to seat fully and getting the stuck bearing out is EXTREMELY difficult. If someone has an idea or recommendation please help out

Thanks

There has to be a small lip in the bore where the bearing goes near the bottom of the bore, clean it up and inspect real close.
