Rear wheel hop

I have a 93 KDX 250 and the rear wheel hops at 3rd gear and up, basically higher speeds. It doesn't seem to matter if it is hardpack, sand, or blacktop. I did put all new bearings and seals in the rear suspension so I highly doubt that is it. I talked to a guy that works at the dealership and he thought it may be the shock, or a bent rim. Any ideas?

Is it something that the bike reacts to or does it do it on its own?

Does it start slowly, increasing with speed? That would be a bent rim.

might just need to true the wheel too. Rim could be fine but maybe all your spokes are loose on one side or something.

Could a Kawi dealer true the wheel. I know there are a few spokes loose, but they are seized up. Should I just get all new spokes and have the dealer lace the wheel and true it? any idea on the price of trueing a wheel?

Take your wheel to a shop and they will true it for you. Don't go and buy new spokes unless your's are broken or stripped.
