Hi - just a quick question on the grease nipples on the suspension linkage on my Husky. I just bought a grease gun and am ready for action. Do you need to loosen off the linkage bolts first? Is there any worry about over packing? Thanks in advance.
Rob-No need to loosen the bolts. Just give one or two good squirts per fitting and you'll be fine. It will work it's way in there. One important thing-Don't force it if it won't go. You may wind up pushing the dust seals out from the inside with the grease pressure if you try to pack too much grease in there with the gun. When I had the DRZ, I would grease every few rides. No need to overdo it. :)
