Repair a water pump?

funny story, my friend bought a 98 yzf 400 from one of the more sheisty mechanics out there, any way when the pump seal blew the first time, we simply pulled the right hand case off and replaced it the same way we found it in there, when it blew the second time and we had to take the case off for the second time, and undo the banjo bolt oil line thing on the top of the case for the second time, we discovered that it was in fact helicoiled(as well as two other bolts on that case), and that the helicoil was destroyed, we replaced the broken seal, got a timesert which is a really nifty little peice of ingenuity, and drilled out and tapped and inserted the timesert into the banjo bolt hole, we got the bike together and went riding, leaked a little oil from the banjo bolt, tightened it up, problem solved, kept on riding, ten minutes later, what decided to break again?the water seal, we went to the store to get a new one having already bought two of the same seals there, the store was fresh out of them, we ordered it, finally got it, and decided to look up what we were doing wrong, turns out the genius of a man before us, was putting the seals in backwards, (of course we aint to smart neither for actually thinking he did something right)we put the seal in the right way and are going out to test it monday,
anyway, moral of the story=make sure you put your seal in right the first time and save yourself some annoyance and anguish towards your wonderful dirtbike

Check the shaft too. If it has any wear, replace it or even a new seal won't fix the problem.
You'll need to drain the oil from the trans, then pull the entire side cover, not just the pump cover.
Once you have the side cover off, the shaft pulls out from the backside.
Bit of advice, replace the shaft, bearing, both seals and the copper washer under the impeller.
Also, just to make that seal last a bit longer, drill a 1/8" hole about 3/8" from the outside edge up between the vanes of the impeller in one spot. It helps to balance the pressure behind the impeller.
Once you have the side cover off, the shaft pulls out from the backside.

Err... I'm talking about the RIGHT SIDE CASE.. The water pump cover attaches to it, the clutch cover attaches to it..
You have to remove the kick start lever to remove it, it has an oil fill plug in it..

I have a problem with the impeller of a RM125 Suzuki (built 1995) it simply shed away from the socket. So I'll need a new Impeller but where con I get one from? Does anyone have an idea? After all it needs to be sent to margarita island, place where I live.
