Wiseco for sure, there are some post about cracked skirts on the OEM 220 pistons. Some have 'detonated' causing alot of damage.

I'd certainly be looking at the Wiseco over the Pro-X piston. Why you ask. . . . Pro-X sells surplus original manufacture pistons that they measure for size and rebox. The stock KDX220 piston has known problems, the Pro-X will to.

the local supplier made a similar reference to some pro x pistons can infact be oem.I think I will go for the safe option.Thanks for the input.

I'd take a Pro X or oem over Wiseco anyday. Cast is best. Wiseco will expand a little more. You have to set the bore up a little looser to compensate.
