Is there any real performance gain by changing the rev box on a CRF100? Is it worth it?

Definetly not. You will just spend a lot of money on an unnessesary item. By the time you get to the point of RPM's that the Rev Box lets you be in your tearing apart the engine. That is not a CR, its an XR with fancy grafics and if you start riding it hard enough for the Rev Box to kick in it won't last for long.
