On March 16th, 2003, while leading the Over 40 Expert Class at Owhyee Motorcycle Club, Pat fell and was seriously injured. He is currently paralyzed from the chest down. Pat has been involved in off-road motorcycle racing for more than 20 years. Pat is a member of the Owhyee Motorcycle Club in Boise Idaho and frequently announces races there. Pat also announced motorcycle races at Washogual Motorcycle Park for over eight years.

Pat isn't expected to be at home until sometime in May. This website and bike raffle is dedicated to helping Pat and his family with the financial burdens and lifestyle changes imposed by his injury.

Payday is today so I'll definitly participate.  I look at this very simply, the bike would be nice but the ability to help Pat and his family in some small way is far more important.  Thanks for the link.

I just look at it as "paying it forward", .... well actually back. A few good guys had to haul me out of the woods last year. And with a wife and 3 little kids, I can relate...

Got it thanks. I was at the last OMC meeting and I have to say it was a real tear Jerker to listen to Pat brother talk about how people he did not even know had been coming to the hospital to visit him. It really tugs at my heart to see how we take care of our own........ My sister has been one of the nurses who has been helping take care of him. She says he is in real good spirits and is making progress.

Oops, I did the paypal thing then moved most of my money out of that account 2 days later. Yesterday I got a notice that there were insufficient funds. Apparently paypal didn't actually try to get the money for 3 days!

I moved it back...can you verify that they did get it in a few days. Should have me down for 5 tickets.

Thanks!

I submitted through paypal and entered my info. Is that all that is needed for the raffle?

Also, is there any website or anything that has updates on his condition?
