Langston out for another month

Grant Langston has just informed Racer X that he will be out of action for at least another month.

"The knee is just not stable enough yet," said the 2001 125cc runner-up. "I just visited my doctor, who looked over my knee and told me that he would see me again in a month. He's afraid that if I were to stick my leg out in a corner and it was to get caught in a hole, or I drug my leg behind me and got it caught, I could totally destroy the knee. I'm feeling good and the knee is getting better, but it's just not stable enough yet. The injury is bad enough that we just can't take any chances."

Travis Pastrana update

We just found out that Travis visited the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday, only to find out that he'll need to stay in his cast for another month (approximately until July 27). His bone is healing fine, but the ligaments seem to be holding up the process. We'll keep you posted....

In other Travis news, the FMX/MX star rang up a strike when he tossed out he first pitch at yesterday's Indians-Diamondbacks game, and participated in a skit of some sort during the seventh-inning stretch
