I was changing a flat on Sunday and noticed my front rim has a dink in it and is starting to hairline crack. Must have happened in Big Bend last November. Anyway, on to my question. Does anyone know or recommend someone who repairs/straightens aluminum rims? Thanks.

Any explanation as to why "don't repair"?

I got my rear wheel tig welded (on both sides) at a local machine/welding shop. I smoothed out the inside abit and have been riding all summer with no signs of cracking.

I do mostly trails and afew small jumps when they present them selfs...

So far so good for me.

I have a hammer and MIG wleder.

If it isn't bad I'd get it TIG welded and keep an eye on it.
