Hey guys, yesterday I cleaned my jets out and figured today i would try to set the idle. Its an 07' RM 250 with a keihin carb (tps)... It says idle screw on the choke, but I heard that was for choked idle only and the larger black screw was the main idle. Either way I tried both, and they seem do to nothing!
Whats the proper way to set up the bike to idle?

On some older RM's the idle screw WAS the choke knob (choke: up/down & turn a # of clicks for idle adjust)
On your '07 they should be seperate  , the black plastic screw w/ spring being your adjustment.
If no luck, I'd look at the pilot again.

ps... Is your air screw (small screw to the right of idle screw) at approx 1 & 1/2 turns out from seated?

I'll have to check the air screw, I adjusted the rear suspension rebound last night and when I went in the garage today all the oil had leaked out!
