My 2000 RM 80 clutch won't dissengage the first time you pop the bike in gear (bike acts like it has no clutch) and stalls out. I put the bike in neutral start it back up and pop in in gear and it works fine no problems. Plates and springs are within specs no notches in basket.

How is the inner clutch hub. That can get grooved and cause sticking. Since your problem goes away once the plates are broken free I would lean towards the oil. Try Maxima 75w oil or just some plain old ATF. The ATF will clean the plates and is thin enough to stop sticking. It is worth a try. I use a mix of Synthetic ATF and 10w-40.
