I recently purchased a 2001 RM250 that seemed to be cherry. With all the recent crappy weather I've had more than the normal amount of time to tinker and discovered a small dent on the right fork tube. Each time the seal passes over the dent a small amount of fluid will weap out. This being said I began a quest for replacement forks and purchased 2002 CR250 forks w/triple clamps included also is the steering stem and bearing assy. Both forks are by Kayaba and I believe are the same diameter. My question is does anyone know of any problems I might encounter installing the forks on my RM? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
