RM125 Desert Enduro Racer....!?

This "friend" of mine swears up and down that my RM125 is a "special Desert Enduro Racer"...because it has a six speed tranny!! He says.." They would never in a milion years put a 6 speed tranny in a MX bike, Its impractical cause you never get out of third gear on a track." Am I crazy....Does he know something I Dont?! I personally think hes jealous cause his newer KX250 has only 5 speeds. But...He swears it to the bitter end!! :coocoo:

All suzuki bikes have 6 speed trannys. If i recall correctly most of the hondas do to. Not sure about yamaha but i know all Kawasakis MX bikes are 5spd trannys. I think there enduros are 6 speed but not there MX bikes.

All KX125's are six speed - very common for 125's, but there have been five speeds for some 125 models in recent years.

250 smokers are commonly five spee....why am I answering this thread..... :bang:

I have a 98 KX 125.

6 speed tranny.

I'm wanting to try one of the newer 4 speeds that's on the...KX450F? I'm not sure.

The less shifting I have to do, the more I can concentrate on other things.
