Pls don't make me read through all these threads in hopes I can find the answer to this. I am too new to understand most of it, but I am trying like heck. :bang:
My XT trail bike did not have any adjustments to suspension. Just get on and ride.
My question is what should the settings be at for a 130lb rider? I know it is somewhat personal preferance, but I am really too inexperienced with this bike to even know how it shoudl feel. Today I put everything back to "suggested" settings per the manual. And then softened everything 2 clicks. It is used and broke in. It's an 01.
Fire away! And Thanks :)

No one can give you magical setting that work for all scenarios. The type of terrain you ride combined with your abilty and many other factors will determine what settings will work best for you. At 130 you'll likely need lighter springs than stock and perhaps some revalving depending on some of the other factors. You might want to start by reading the tuning guide at mx-tech's site.
