I've got the okay from the wife and now I'm looking for a new 125. I'm going to have it bored and stroked so I'm not concerned about which stock motor is stronger. I'm more concerned about the handling.
I was planning to get an RM but I've learned that the RM can only be reliably brought up to 151cc - while the YZ can be made into 167cc.
I've never ridden either bike - and I don't know anyone to beg a ride from. I'm going to try to strike up a conversation with someone at the track and then offer to switch bikes for a few laps.
In the meantime, I'd like some input from someone who's ridden late models of both. The Suzuki has a reputation for turning well - something I don't do well. How does the Yamaha turn in comparison?
Thanks for your insight. Mark
