i just went out on it the other day went about five minutes and i foiled a plug same thing happened with another three plugs im runnin 5 to one mixture with synthentic oil what should i do
actually im not sure if it was five to one i was told to put 1 full bottle of bel ray 2 stroke racing oil into five gallons of 93 octane the bottle has 13 ounces in it so what is that mixture
Def diff mixture, I run 40:1 motul 800 in 93 octane. I don't know of anyone that runs more oils than that. 32-40 seems the range. Do get the ratio_rite and if possible get the lid. If your dealer doesn't know what a ratio rite is, consider a new dealer. These can be purchased either together or separately from Dennis Kirk, sometimes a dealer won't have the lid but it keeps the crap out so all you have to do it measure and pour.
I have an 03 RM-250. I run a 40:1 mixture with spectro synthetic and use a NGK BR8EG or ES plug. 40:1 seems to be a good ratio for 250's. Pick a good quality synthetic oil that is available locally. I stay away from castor based oils, they seem a bit finicky for me. Don't fiddle with the gas/oil mixture in an attempt to keep a plug from fouling. Try rejetting your bike. Since rejetting my bike I haven't fouled a plug, it's been 6 months.
