My last long road trip

I had everything loaded up for the ski trip last New Year, everything except the music. I ended up listening to the music off the Play Station SuperCross circut CD for 32 hours out & back. It's kind of cool for the 1st 20 miles or so then you start to go nuts:uh:

Team 'California' listened to the same CREED CD for 37.5 hours straight, all the way back from DirtWeek '01.

Man I'm sorry that must have sucked the big one!

If you're staying in the 70,80 era, howabout: Sex Pistols- Rock and Roll Swindle, Guns and Roses- Live, Early Def Lepard, Black Flag, etc. etc.
I just load the cd changer and cassete deck and let em play, no dj mix.

Jim,
Glad to see Radar Love was on your list - GREAT driving song!

I nominate "Jailbreak" and 'The Boys Are Back in Town" from Thin Lizzy.

A great song for a twisty road would be Seasons in the Abyss, by Slayer. Its got a good medium paced beat. If you listen to their other stuff, though, it might lead to road rage!:debil:

KXer Heaven and Hell is one of my all time favorite songs. I never thought anyone would say that one, but it's on for sure.
Budda- Love the whole Seasons in the Abyss album. Reighn in Blood and the like are very hardcore.
I like a lot of these suggestions so far. I know most of these songs well. You guys figured out that if it has guitar, I like it.

more... Kiss-Detroit Rock City. Van Halen-Eruption/You Really got Me; Dokken-Breaking the Chains; The Cult-Rain; Pantera-Walk.... keep em' coming.

Man you guys sound like a bunch of old farts

My son always wants to listen to that metal rap stuff. Some of it I can tolerate but (Disturbed I don't like) when he falls asleep in the truck (which doesn't take long) I put on Jeff Beck Wired.

Can't disagree anybodys picks so far. Man are we getting old or what?

Shopping with the missus the other day, came across Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms, had to buy it, huge flashbacks, reckon some of them songs could be good for driving. ( mellow, with a bit of edge )
Most of the other suggestions rock, dont know about convoy though. ;)
