I am towing a 7x16 enclosed trailer with a Ford Excursion. The 'X' is 80" tall and the trailer is 99" tall. Hence, I have a huge air brake. Prior to towing this monster I was getting around 17mpg. Now I am getting about 11mpg. Has anyone used a wind deflector on their roofs? If so, did you see an improvement in mpg?
