I have a 2002 cr250, by reaqding the manual I pretty much understand how to set the sag. My problem is I am 5'10 and would like to saddle the bike with both feet flat on the ground. I see the pros doing this on their bikes and they are alot shorter then I am. Can anyone help with advise on lowering the bike but still being able to maintain proper sag?

What some pro's mechanics do also is lower the subframe. Where the subframe bolts to the frame near the footpegs, they get a round file and file the hole oblong about 1mm at a time which can be as much as 10mm at the rear of the bike. It lowers the rear of the bike noticably. It helps most when they hit bumps and the bike kicks up, it doesn't hit their @ss. But it may also help with your seat hieght issue.

factory connection lowers suspension on bikes at a reasonable price. If you don't like it lowered its reversable.

Is there any specific reason you need to be flat footed? I am 5'10" as well. I lowered the back of my yzover an inch by shortening the subframe. The only limit here is the tire hitting the fender when it bottoms.
