im going to pismo in a couple of weeks on my 85 what do i need to do to my bike other than put on my paddle,clean my air filter, and tape up the airbox.
I always put a filterskin on my filter for a little added protection. Check the elevation compared to where you usually ride at. I mostly have to fatten up the main jet a size or two. where I live. Except a 98 RM250 I owned it ran just as good with the same jet size. only bike that was ever that way. Just remember you Don't want to run lean especially on a 125 or smaller because you are working your motor a lot more and I am usually pinned running higher rpm. . Blow up city.
