So now some company(rb) is trying to compensate for the obstruction?
No bashing, read again? BUT, since you brought it up? A quick google hit on the third page, a redirect from our very own dirtrider no less! Kind of a plain no non sense website, for a guy. Seems to be more quad directed, sleeves, porting and carb mods? As I was afraid, no proof. Dyno, SAE, nada? All guy talk. 125 bucks would cover a JD jetting kit, a shop manual, and check out Spankie's or Eric Gorr's jetting guide. Eric's information is impeccable, but Spankie's gets through to the "harder to accept reality". http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=172481&highlight=Spanky's+jetting+guide , http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=60392&page=2&pp=10&highlight=jetting+fast , http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=92818&page=1&pp=20 . Everything you will ever need to know.julien_d said:So now we're off to trashing Ron Black? Sweet. Ron has been modding carbs in his particular fashion a lot longer than the bs scarynow product has been around. Scarynow is just trying to cash in on something that "some company" uses in conjuncture with other modifications to improve the overall performance of the carb. Regardless of how you feel about "sound waves" and carbs, Ron's mod has been shown time and time again to improve the overall throttle response and power delivery on many different bikes.
